Jeevan Pandey
Jeevan is a highly skilled and licensed medical physicist, with a distinct focus on proton therapy and extensive experience across radiotherapy technologies. As a clinical scientist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a licensed Medical Physics Expert (MPE), Jeevan has been instrumental in commissioning a network of proton therapy centres in the UK. His practical experience with the IBA Proteus®ONE proton cyclotron has been key in setting up proton therapy systems at the Rutherford Cancer Centres.
His deep understanding spans beam data acquisition, validation of complex treatment plans, TPS integration, calibration, and quality assurance (QA) to ensure precision and safety. Beyond proton therapy, he has commissioned Elekta Versa HD, Varian TrueBeam, Varian iX, and Varian Novalis systems for stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), implementing rigorous QA programmes.
Jeevan works extensively with RayStation, Eclipse, and Pinnacle treatment planning systems, optimising photon and proton plans. As co‑founder and director of Radiophys Consulting Ltd., he brings leadership in commissioning and consulting for both proton beam and Linac-based centres, advancing access to cutting‑edge cancer treatment.
